Statement
As a 3D artist, my work focuses on bringing physical concepts and objects into existence within digital environments. Modelling, asset creation and environment design that are mostly representative of real-world things.
The intention of this project is to bring to the forefront the relationships between objects and their digital counterparts, as well as that of humans and the objects that inhabit the transitory urban environment. Contrasting the scuffs and scrapes of human interaction, with the glitches and gaps left by digital capture processes, it explores the intersection of digital and physical materiality, and how digital capture processes can influence the existing unique traits among these specific objects. It represents these ubiquitous objects in a crafted 3d environment, acting as an examination of the complexities of their materiality.
